Welcome to the dynamic, inspiring, and nurturing learning community of MVA dedicated to supporting all students to achieve their individual potential. MVA believes that the goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create possibilities for a child to invent and discover. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.
The curriculum in the classroom is designed to incorporate the skill and intelligence levels of the student with the right use of technology and multimedia. The lessons are not based on textbooks, instead, they are project-based. Skills and content are learned through their research and projects, and textbooks are provided as one of many possible resources.
A mix of acquisition and practice of project-based learning and other immersive pedagogies, individual education plans for all, the unbundling of teaching-learning, and the assessment of competence and inclusion of state-of-the-art technology are the prime attributes of learning at MVA. The school is fully driven by the learning context of every student, guided by the experience of the facilitator, directed by the reflection of the learning goals of students, set into action to meet the benchmarks and finally assessed through evaluations.
We are equally proud of our extensive range of activities for students outside the classroom. Students are given a choice of a wide range of opportunities in sports, arts, and community service which enhance the formal curriculum.
