Established 39 years ago, MVA has remained one school that has shown noteworthy resilience in the educational sector of Nepal. Despite all the challenges, it has been characterized by overall growth, albeit in the modest term. The school’s principal policy is to encourage maximum participation of students so that they can develop independent thought and the ability to question rather than simply absorb information, leading to a far deeper understanding and consequently enhanced performance. We work with empathy, understanding our students and the challenges they face, and have a flexible system in place to enable us to sustain this relationship.

MVA stands proud and boasted with its Twenty-Eight 100% successful SLC/SEE batches. It has widened its horizon from doctors to engineers, researchers to business executives. MVA remains committed to bringing to the nation the major trends and indicators shaping the educational landscape in the country on a regular basis so as to provide a cogent and factual basis for a knowledge-based society. This exercise should be seen as the first step in that direction.

Our Philosophy

We welcome you to MVA. We are excited to have you here where you will learn and grow with us. Our faculty members are enthusiastic educators interested in helping you meet your fullest potential. At MVA, we accept each child as being unique. We are dedicated to giving our students a strong basic education. We believe they should attend school to learn how to be responsible citizens of an ever-changing society, living by the accepted standards of our community. As faculty, we trust one another as professionals and strive for harmonious working relationships. We believe that if staff members enjoy the surroundings in which they work, the students will be benefited. It is our goal to produce students who leave our school with grade‐level competencies in all areas of basic education. Every subject area taught should meet consistent standards designed to improve academic skills. To accomplish that, each teacher is constantly involved in periodic planning and evaluation. Parents are important to our total program. We must work toward a closer relationship between home and school. Learning takes place in the school, home, and community as well. We believe school is a tool parents can use to help their children learn to live productively.
